3DC v2 Sling - Fire Strike

I had heard the hype from this company on the Carryology FB group and watched the comparison video (JB Outside YouTube) between the BDL 3DC vs GW Boogie. Due to the positive feedback I decided to try my unlucky hand at a drop and actually won (first drop win to date lol). Once ordered I received the package in 2-3 days. Upon opening the package the presentation was enough to verify the hype!. The sling was in its own burlap style bag with BDL logo as well as a hand written thank you card. That gesture may not mean anything to anyone but in terms of quality and integrity it spoke volumes to me. I have a couple comparable size/color slings by other very reputable brands and just by feeling the material on the BDL sling, it just feels very high end; it’s hard to explain without having one in your hands which I recommend. I hadn’t had experience with magnets and was skeptical a first due to the added weight but now it’s something on my check list when looking at slings/packs, the added weight was unnoticeable when packed out/carried vs a comparable sized pack. I honestly wish they designed one with a full magnetic closure (cough please, cough, cough) If the weight is a deal breaker, I recommend a purse or let your wife/gf carry it. I have been carrying for the last 10 years but have only became psychotic about it for the last 2-3 years. I rotate slings about every week or two (carry a sling all day every day) but I always seem to come back to this one. Especially on road trips or outings due to a couple of the hidden compartments for air tags, cash, etc. Hidden compartments weren’t something I knew I needed until I had one.

Also, I have been looking for a special project pack and BDL was my first choice to turn to. After talking to the owner I can tell his attention to detail and “how can we make each part/piece better” is second to none by searching for the best materials, best form and function. I gave him my idea and he dissected it from every angle and blew me away with his in-depth approach.
